The Canadian Press reports that on Sept. 29, 2026 Sleep Country Canada relaunched an e-commerce website using the Bed Bath & Beyond Canada name. Sleep Country acquired the Canadian and U.K. rights to the brand and logos from Overstock.com about a year earlier, according to the story.
The relaunch follows the closure of the previous Canadian Bed Bath & Beyond stores after creditor protection in 2023. Bed Bath & Beyond Canada president Carol Deacon told The Canadian Press the new online shop carries roughly 6,000 home products but will start with narrower furniture and baby assortments than the former chain.
Sleep Country is targeting a first physical Bed Bath & Beyond Canada store for late 2027, though the location, store strategy and the size of any future footprint are still being worked out and were described as likely more focused than the prior chain.
